Citric acid and washing soda act as water softeners and boosters, while baking soda provides a mild cleaning boost. The fragrance is added to leave a soft, clean scent on your clothes after washing to keep them fresh. Simply place one scoop of laundry powder per load of laundry for normal cleaning. Add a scoop and a half for maximum cleaning power. There is a scoop included in the container. A cup of vinegar can be added in place of fabric softener for a completely non toxic laundry routine.
